TENEXAI, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the TenexAI productivity application (the "Application") handles your information. By downloading or using the Application, you agree to this Privacy Policy. This policy supplements our Terms of Service and End User License Agreement.
Local Data Processing and Security
The Application records a local behavioral timeline to generate productivity insights. This data includes active application names, window titles, document names, browser domains, timestamps, durations, and system events like sleep or lock states.
We process and store all this data locally on your Mac. We do not upload your behavioral data or AI‑generated insights to any cloud servers. The AI model runs entirely on your device.
Because the Application stores data entirely on your local hardware, your operating system protects this data. We are not liable if a local device compromise exposes your data. You must use full‑disk encryption, secure your passwords, and keep your physical device safe. You control your data and its retention. You may pause tracking, delete local session databases, or fully uninstall the Application at any time. If you manually export reports or diagnostics from the Application, those files may contain your behavioral data.
Automated Data Retention
The Application automatically deletes older data to save space and reduce risk. It deletes behavioral timelines after 90 days, event logs after 360 days, and AI analysis files after 365 days. It deletes local crash logs after 30 days (or sooner if storage limits are reached). It also periodically removes stale caches and empty session folders. Your core productivity profile remains until you delete it or uninstall the app.
Deleting Your Data
You control your data. You can clear your tracked data at any time using the "Delete My Activity Data" button in Settings. This removes your behavioral timelines, event logs, and AI outputs, but keeps your app preferences.
To remove all data entirely, you must use the in‑app "Uninstall" option. Simply dragging the Application to the Trash will leave hidden data files on your system.
Required Network Connections
The Application connects to the internet for basic administrative tasks. These connections do not transmit your behavioral data.
App Updates
The Application uses Sparkle to check updates.tenexaitbd.com daily for new versions. This sends standard metadata, such as your IP address, HTTP headers, and current app version.
Remote Configuration
The Application periodically fetches configuration files via Cloudflare and Backblaze B2. This lets us share announcements or enforce minimum versions. Cloudflare may process connection metadata, including IP addresses, to route and secure these requests.
AI Model Download
When you first set up or reinstall the app, the Application connects to Ollama's servers to download the AI model.
Information You Provide to Us
We do not require you to create an account. If you email us for support, we collect your email address and any details you choose to share. This may include system diagnostics. We use this information solely to help you, and we retain support communications only as long as necessary to assist you or maintain internal records.
No Third‑Party Tracking or Data Sales
The Application does not include advertising trackers, analytics SDKs, telemetry, or automatic crash reporting. We do not sell, rent, or share any personal data, including incidentally captured sensitive data, for cross‑context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under applicable privacy laws.
Legal Disclosures and Business Transfers
We may disclose your support emails or network metadata if the law requires it, such as to comply with a subpoena or court order. If we sell, merge, or transfer our business, we may transfer your information to the new owners.
Children's Privacy
We intend the Application strictly for individuals 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect, process, or store personal data from children. If we learn that someone under 18 has used the Application and provided personal data to us via a support request, we will immediately delete that information from our active records.
Geographic Location
We offer the Application for use strictly within the United States.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on our website or announcing it within the app.
